Malena received her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in children and adolecents from Viterbo University. She also received specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ages 3-18. Malena is bilingual, providing services in both Spanish and English. 

Special Interests (area of focus):

Malena utilizes a variety of therapy approaches in her care, including Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing techniques. She is available to work with families, adults, children and adolescent, and specializes in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders, among others.

Malena is also experienced in working with college-aged students, providing school-based counseling services and helping those with career concerns.


Hobbies/ personal interests:
Malena enjoys spending free time with her husband and daughter, going on walks, listening to music, and reading.
